Dehradun:- Cabinet Sub-Committee on reservation in promotion issue has decided that prior to arriving to any decision or conclusion, it would be prudent and in fitness of the thing that the representatives of different government employees associations would also be heard in person so as to enable the Sub Committee to reach on amicable solution to the referred issue.
The Sub committee also examined the provision of the Constitution of India and also the judgments of the Apex Court and High Court of Uttarakhand.
In continuation of the deliberation, the Sub-Committee resolved to convene next meeting on 29 August. The meeting was attended by Members of the Sub-Committee Parliamentary Affairs Minister Indira Hridayesh, Irrigation Minister Yashpal Arya, Agriculture Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, Food and Supply Minister Pritam Singh, School Education Minister Mantri Prasad Naithani, Transport Minister Surendra Rakesh and Advocate General UK Uniyal.
